New ‘House of Cards’ trailer hints that secrets will be spilled in season 2

Frank Underwood’s coldly calculated ascent to the vice presidency appears to be in jeopardy in the upcoming season of “House of Cards.” In a new trailer for the show released on Monday, enemies of Underwood (Kevin Spacey) threaten to air his political dirty laundry and take down his wife, Claire (Robin Wright), in the process. The Netflix original series, which returns Feb. 14, is nominated for Golden Globes in the Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor categories. The show’s first season became the first online-only series to receive an Emmy nomination in 2013.
